1. Platform subscriptions, not merchant purchases
This policy concerns fees you pay Bizlif for the Bizlif platform. It does not decide refunds for products, services or downloads purchased from an independent business website hosted on Bizlif. For those purchases, contact the seller and consult that seller's policy and applicable consumer rights.
Your checkout terms and any non-excludable consumer rights take priority over a conflicting general statement in this policy.
2. Refund eligibility
Refund requests are reviewed against the policy and purchase information that applied when the charge was made. Duplicate charges, incorrect amounts and a payment collected without the required authorization should be reported so we can investigate and correct a verified billing error.
Bizlif platform subscription payments are generally final and non-refundable. This includes a first subscription, a renewal, an upgrade, an unused part of a billing period, a change of mind, or a decision not to use available features. There is no general seven-day or fourteen-day money-back offer. An exception applies for a verified duplicate or incorrect charge, an express written refund commitment that applied to the purchase, or a refund or other remedy required by applicable law. A verified overcharge may be corrected by returning the excess amount while the valid charge remains payable.
3. How to cancel a renewal
Use the cancellation control in Billing for a supported automatically renewing subscription. If the control is unavailable or fails, contact us promptly using the contact details on this page and identify the subscription. Keep the cancellation confirmation or support reference. Cancel before the next renewal is processed if you do not want the next charge.
Cancellation of renewal generally prevents a later recurring charge and leaves access for the period already paid for, unless a different lawful arrangement is expressly confirmed. It does not itself return a past payment, delete the account or erase website content. Manual payment arrangements do not create an automatic card debit simply because you have a Bizlif account.
4. Trials, free plans and plan changes
A free plan has no platform subscription payment to refund. A trial follows the duration, eligibility and payment information shown for that trial. Review any recurring-payment authorization before it starts.
Changing a plan can affect feature access, site limits, storage and the next bill. Any credit, proration or immediate charge must be identified in the supported billing flow or confirmed by support; this policy does not promise automatic proration for every payment method. Make copies or adjust usage before a downgrade that reduces your limits.
5. Information to include in a request
Contact us from, or identify, the account email and provide enough information to locate the charge. We may verify account ownership and ask for a receipt or a suitably redacted proof of payment. Do not send passwords, a complete card number, a card security code, or unrelated bank records.
- Your Bizlif account email and affected plan.
- The transaction reference, payment date, amount and payment method.
- The reason for the request and relevant cancellation/error details.
- A redacted receipt if the transaction cannot otherwise be located.
6. Review and repayment
Submitting a request does not itself confirm eligibility. We will explain the result after reviewing the purchase and relevant records, and may request information needed to verify an error or your authority. If a refund is approved, we will confirm the amount and the method used.
Where possible, repayment goes to the original payment method. Provider, bank, currency-conversion and settlement times can affect when funds appear. If the original route cannot be used, any alternative must be securely verified. Third-party fees are handled according to the applicable purchase terms and mandatory law; we do not promise that an unrelated provider will refund its own charges.
7. Third-party charges and payment disputes
Domains bought elsewhere, an external app subscription and a merchant's own customer transactions are governed by their respective providers or sellers. We cannot reverse a charge we did not collect.
You may use any dispute or chargeback rights available through your bank or applicable law. Contacting us first can help identify a duplicate, misdescription or unauthorized transaction, but it is not a waiver of those rights. We may restrict a genuinely unpaid service while a payment dispute is investigated, subject to applicable protections.
8. Mandatory rights and policy changes
Nothing here excludes a statutory cancellation period, a remedy for a defective or materially misdescribed service, or another right that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a mandatory rule applies to your purchase, tell us the relevant circumstances so we can address it.
A later policy update will not retrospectively remove an entitlement that applied to an earlier purchase. The effective date and purchase records should be used to identify the applicable terms.
